Privacy Policy and Personal Information Protection

1. Business identification

This site is operated by Joudev, a sole proprietorship (self-employed worker) established in Quebec, Canada. For the purposes of this policy, « Joudev », « we » and « I » refer to the operator of this site.

2. Person responsible for the protection of personal information

In accordance with Law 25, the person responsible for the protection of personal information at Joudev is Mahmoud Neffeti, the business operator. Any question, request, or complaint concerning your personal information can be addressed to him directly at the address indicated in section 10 of this policy.

3. Personal information collected

This site has no account creation system and no automated visitor tracking. The site's only point of contact (the Contact page) is a form that collects the information you choose to enter there: name, email address, and a description of your project.

Upon submission, this form sends that information to a server operated by Joudev, which relays it by email to Joudev through a third-party transactional email service (see section 6). No data is stored in a database: Joudev's server relays the message without keeping it.

As a precaution, we recommend not submitting sensitive personal information through this form that isn't necessary to process your request.

4. Purpose of the collection

The information you choose to submit by email (name, email address, project description) is used solely to respond to your request and, where applicable, to follow up on a business relationship arising from that exchange. It is not used for any other purpose, including unsolicited marketing.

5. Cookies and tracking tools

This site does not set any tracking cookies and does not integrate any audience analytics, targeted advertising, or behavioral measurement tool, whether operated by Joudev or a third party. Should this change, this policy will be updated before any such tool is deployed, in accordance with section 14.

6. Disclosure to third parties

Joudev does not sell, rent, or disclose any personal information to third parties for commercial purposes.

Information submitted through the contact form is routed through Resend, a third-party transactional email service, which acts as a processor on Joudev's behalf for the sole purpose of delivering your message. This provider processes your name, email address, and message content on infrastructure that may be located outside Quebec.

The resulting email is then received and stored in the mailbox used by Joudev (Gmail, operated by Google), which also acts as a third party hosting this correspondence on infrastructure that may be located outside Quebec.

Beyond these two providers, Joudev does not transmit any information to another processor and does not use any other third-party service in the operation of this site.

7. Retention and destruction

Since no information is stored by the site itself, no data is retained there. Emails received following contact are kept in Joudev's mailbox for as long as necessary to manage the business relationship, then deleted once they are no longer useful for the purposes for which they were collected, subject to applicable legal retention obligations (including tax-related ones, where applicable).

8. Security measures

This site is published as static files, with no database, which considerably reduces the attack surface. The contact form is handled by a minimal service that stores no messages, with request rate limiting and validation of incoming data. Appropriate security measures are implemented across the entire site, including strict security headers and mandatory HTTPS encryption for all communications.

9. Your rights

With respect to any personal information you have submitted to Joudev, you have the following rights:

• Right of access : obtain confirmation that information concerning you is held by Joudev and obtain a copy of it.
• Right of rectification : have inaccurate, incomplete, or ambiguous information corrected.
• Right to withdraw consent : withdraw, at any time, your consent to the use of information submitted, subject to Joudev's legal obligations.
• Right to portability : request that the computerized personal information you have provided be communicated to you in a structured, commonly used technological format.
• Right to de-indexing and cessation of dissemination : this right, provided under Law 25, allows you to request the cessation of dissemination, de-indexing, or re-indexing of personal information disseminated to the public, where such dissemination causes serious harm to privacy or reputation disproportionate to the public's interest in knowing that information. Since this site does not disseminate any content or information from its visitors, this right has no practical application in its current operation.

10. How to exercise your rights

To exercise any of these rights, or for any question regarding this policy, write to Mahmoud Neffeti, the person responsible for the protection of personal information at Joudev, at neffetimahmoud.dev@gmail.com. A response will be provided within a reasonable time and, in all cases, within the timeframes prescribed by law.

11. Complaint handling

Anyone may file a complaint regarding the handling of their personal information by Joudev directly with the person responsible for the protection of personal information, using the contact information in section 10. The complaint may be submitted in writing, describing the facts at issue. Joudev will acknowledge receipt, review it diligently, and communicate its decision to the person concerned within a reasonable time.

12. Recourse to the Commission d'accès à l'information

If you are not satisfied with how your complaint was handled, or if you prefer to contact the competent authority directly, you may file a complaint with Quebec's Commission d'accès à l'information, the body responsible for overseeing the application of Law 25, at cai.gouv.qc.ca.

13. Privacy incident

In the event of a privacy incident, Joudev will take the measures required by law, including notifying the Commission d'accès à l'information and the persons concerned when the incident presents a risk of serious harm. A register of all privacy incidents is kept for a minimum of five years, in accordance with Law 25 requirements.

14. Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated to reflect changes to the site or to applicable regulations. The date of the last update appears at the top of this page. Any significant change to how your information is handled will be communicated to you before it takes effect, when required by law.
